The song arrives alongside an accompanying music video and showcases a darker, slower, and more ominous side of the band.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Goliath&#8221; deliberately dials down the tempo, leaning into doom-laden territory with winding, malevolent leads, thunderous drums, and intricate guitar work from thrash legend <strong>Gary Holt<\/strong>. Adding a dramatic new dimension to the track is violinist <strong>Katie Jacoby<\/strong>, who contributed 18 tracks of haunting string arrangements to the song&#8217;s midsection.<\/p>\n<p>More than four decades after their debut, <strong>Exodus<\/strong> remain unwavering in their commitment to pushing their sound forward. <em>Goliath<\/em> is described as their most multifaceted effort yet, featuring epic collaborations and marking the return of <strong>Rob Dukes<\/strong> as lead vocalist.<\/p>\n<p>The band shared their thoughts on the crushing new single: &#8220;&#8216;Goliath&#8217; may quite possibly be the heaviest thing we have ever done, and certainly the slowest song in our catalog, as close to doom metal as <strong>Exodus<\/strong> we get!
