How then, do you elevate such a machine? Largely, this: it\u2019s the Mistral \u2018La Perle Rare\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>As with every Bugatti ever built, it\u2019s a \u2018one-of-a-kind\u2019, conceived back in 2023 when Bugatti met the owner of this W16 record-breaking leviathan for the first time. Over the next couple of years, they\u2019d go back and forth to realise that owner\u2019s ambition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p>It is, says Bugatti, \u201ca fitting, pearlescent tribute to the elemental power and beauty of the W16 Mistral\u201d. A car of this magnitude naturally needs such hyperbole and purple prose, but considering it\u2019s one of the last outings for that 8.0-litre, it\u2019s all gravy.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s essentially a two-tone, with varying shades of white and layered with metallic flakes. The gold dividing lines were then hand-painted onto the Mistral\u2019s carbon fibre body panels, while the alloys were covered with a \u201cspecially curated paint mixture\u201d too.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"HtmlContent\" class=\"MarkUpWrapper-sc-t20i90-0 hQwWlJ\">\n<p>You\u2019ll have to make sure your footwear isn\u2019t specially curated with the outside world, because it\u2019s all white inside, with highlights including machined and polished aluminium trim bits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis W16 Mistral \u2018La Perle Rare\u2019 is an extraordinary example of what becomes possible when a client\u2019s imagination meets the full creative and technical capabilities of our Sur Mesure offering,\u201d said Bugatti customisation boss Jascha Straub.
