Asistent universitar doctor \u00een cadrul Facult\u0103\u021bii de Arte \u0219i Design Timi\u0219oara, interesul Amaliei Gai\u021b\u0103 se concentreaz\u0103 cu prec\u0103dere asupra fotografiei, cultiv\u00e2nd imagini \u00eenc\u0103rcate de melancolie, solitudine \u0219i o discret\u0103 tensiune a absurdului, \u00een timp ce Andreea Lazea e preocupat\u0103 de protejarea \u0219i promovarea patrimoniului cultural, o tem\u0103 de interes fiind arta public\u0103, pe care o abordeaz\u0103 din perspectiva istoriei artei \u0219i a \u0219tiin\u021belor sociale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen etapa ini\u021bial\u0103, fotografiile au fost f\u0103cute pentru documentare, fiind subsumate demersului de cercetare. Ele au urm\u0103rit acurate\u021bea detaliului, claritatea formelor \u0219i integrarea operelor \u00een contextul lor real, indic\u00e2nd pozi\u021bionarea lor \u00een Timi\u0219oara \u0219i, acolo unde a fost relevant, rela\u021biile cu arhitectura, circula\u021bia sau aspectul spa\u021biului public. Ulterior, pentru expozi\u021bia \u201eMonumental\u201d, Amalia Gai\u021b\u0103 a sim\u021bit nevoia unei repozi\u021bion\u0103ri a privirii.<\/p>\n<p> Dac\u0103 documentarea presupunea ancorarea strict\u0103 \u00een real, proiectul expozi\u021bional a deschis posibilitatea unei distan\u021b\u0103ri deliberate. S-a optat pentru decontextualizarea imaginilor, elimin\u00e2nd fundalul concret \u0219i substituindu-l cu un spa\u021biu fictiv, epurat: c\u00e2mpuri neutre, monocrome, sau peisaje minimale, reduse la esen\u021bial. Aceast\u0103 interven\u021bie a avut o dubl\u0103 inten\u021bie. Pe de o parte, una estetic\u0103, prin concentrarea aten\u021biei exclusiv asupra sculpturii, asupra volumului, materialit\u0103\u021bii \u0219i tensiunii formale, f\u0103r\u0103 interferen\u021bele mediului \u00eenconjur\u0103tor. Pe de alt\u0103 parte, una conceptual\u0103: imaginile propun privitorului un exerci\u021biu de recunoa\u0219tere. Monumentele, de\u0219i prezente \u00een traseele cotidiene, devin adesea invizibile prin familiaritate, \u00a0spa\u021biul fiind traversat f\u0103r\u0103 a le mai percepe cu adev\u0103rat. Prin izolarea lor, ele sunt desprinse din rutina percep\u021biei \u0219i repuse \u00een fa\u021ba ochiului ca entit\u0103\u021bi autonome. \u00cen acest sens, demersul devine unul de descompunere \u0219i recompunere a memoriei vizuale: privitorul caut\u0103 s\u0103 identifice lucrarea, s\u0103-i reconstruiasc\u0103 mental locul \u0219i semnifica\u021bia, s\u0103 reconstituie leg\u0103tura dintre obiect \u0219i ora\u0219. Spa\u021biul reinterpretat, minimalist, aproape steril, introduce o dimensiune de iluzie \u0219i de u\u0219oar\u0103 stranietate, apropiat\u0103 de suprarealism, suspend\u00e2nd timpul \u0219i neutraliz\u00e2nd coordonatele geografice. Sculpturile par astfel extrase din fluxul istoric \u0219i a\u0219ezate \u00eentr-un prezent continuu, unde pot fi privite f\u0103r\u0103 grab\u0103. \u00cen seria fotografic\u0103 \u201eMonumental\u201d, fotografia nu mai func\u021bioneaz\u0103 exclusiv ca document, ci ca instrument critic \u0219i poetic deopotriv\u0103.
