Dou\u0103 c\u0103i ferate care \u00eensumeaz\u0103 peste 300 de kilometri, leg\u00e2nd principalele ora\u0219e din vestul Rom\u00e2niei, se afl\u0103 \u00een \u0219antier, av\u00e2nd termene de finalizare \u00een anii 2026\u20132027.<\/p>\n<p>La peste un secol \u0219i jum\u0103tate de la construc\u021bia primelor c\u0103i ferate din vestul Rom\u00e2niei, infrastructura feroviar\u0103 a regiunii intr\u0103 \u00eentr-o nou\u0103 etap\u0103.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Epoca vitezei \u00een transporturile feroviare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Principalele linii sunt modernizate cu fonduri europene pentru ca trenurile s\u0103 poat\u0103 circula cu viteze de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 160 de kilometri pe or\u0103. Dou\u0103 magistrale care \u00eensumeaz\u0103 peste 300 de kilometri se afl\u0103 \u00een \u0219antier, av\u00e2nd termene estimate de finalizare \u00een anii 2026\u20132027.<\/p>\n<p>Potrivit celui mai recent raport privind stadiul lucr\u0103rilor la c\u0103ile ferate Caransebe\u0219 \u2013 Lugoj \u2013 Timi\u0219oara \u2013 Arad \u0219i Arad (km 614) \u2013 Simeria, aproape trei sferturi din traseele acestora ar trebui finalizate \u00een acest an. \u00cens\u0103, \u00een ultimii ani, \u00een special \u00een cazul c\u0103ii ferate Arad \u2013 Simeria, termenele au fost frecvent prelungite din cauza \u00eent\u00e2rzierilor acumulate de constructori.<\/p>\n<p>Construit\u0103 \u00een urm\u0103 cu un secol \u0219i jum\u0103tate, calea ferat\u0103 Caransebe\u0219 \u2013 Lugoj \u2013 Timi\u0219oara \u2013 Arad, \u00een lungime de 162 de kilometri, leag\u0103 principalele ora\u0219e ale regiunii istorice a Banatului rom\u00e2nesc. Primul s\u0103u tronson, Timi\u0219oara \u2013 Arad, a fost inaugurat \u00een 1871, iar linia Caransebe\u0219 \u2013 Timi\u0219oara, \u00een 1876.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen 2022, magistrala a intrat \u00een \u0219antier, printr-un proiect estimat la aproape nou\u0103 miliarde de lei, finan\u021bat cu fonduri europene, prin Planul Na\u021bional de Redresare \u0219i Rezilien\u021b\u0103. Dup\u0103 finalizarea lucr\u0103rilor la cele patru segmente ale sale, trenurile de c\u0103l\u0103tori vor putea circula cu viteze de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 160 km\/h, iar cele de marf\u0103 cu p\u00e2n\u0103 la 120 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen aprilie 2025, \u00een sta\u021bia CFR Lugoj, a fost deschis traficul pe primul segment de cale ferat\u0103 modernizat\u0103 de pe tronsonul Lugoj \u2013 Timi\u0219oara, parte a acestei linii. Dac\u0103 termenele estimate de CFR sunt respectate, 122 de kilometri ar trebui finaliza\u021bi \u00een 2026, iar 40 de kilometri \u00een anul urm\u0103tor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stadiul lucr\u0103rilor pe magistrala Banatului<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lotul 1 Caransebe\u0219 \u2013 Lugoj, \u00een lungime de 40 de kilometri, este realizat de asocierea Rail Works, lider SC Alstom Transport SA. Contractul a fost semnat la 15 ianuarie 2024, iar termenul estimat de finalizare este iulie 2027. Valoarea investi\u021biei se ridic\u0103 la 1.344 milioane lei. Stadiul fizic al lucr\u0103rilor este de 7,26 la sut\u0103, arat\u0103 raportul publicat de CFR.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tdi_65\" class=\"td-gallery td-slide-on-2-columns\">\n<div alt><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lotul 2, \u00eentre Lugoj \u0219i Timi\u0219oara Est, are o lungime de 54 de kilometri \u0219i este construit de FCC Construcci\u00f3n SA. Contractul a fost semnat la 28 decembrie 2022, cu termen estimat pentru finalizarea primei etape \u00een august 2026. Valoarea investi\u021biei este de 1.916 milioane lei. Progresul fizic a ajuns la 60 la sut\u0103, potrivit CFR.<\/p>\n<p>Lotul 3 Timi\u0219oara Est \u2013 Rona\u021b Triaj, cu o lungime de 14 kilometri, este realizat de asocierea WEBUILD S.p.A. \u2013 Partecipazioni Italia S.p.A. \u2013 SALCEF S.p.A. Contractul a fost semnat la 5 decembrie 2022, iar termenul estimat de finalizare este iunie 2026. Valoarea lucr\u0103rilor este de 1.440 milioane lei, iar stadiul fizic a ajuns la 18 la sut\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Lotul 4 Rona\u021b Triaj \u2013 Arad, \u00een lungime de 55 de kilometri, este realizat de asocierea WEBUILD S.p.A. \u2013 Partecipazioni Italia S.p.A. \u2013 SALCEF S.p.A. Contractul a fost semnat la 16 decembrie 2022, cu termen estimat de finalizare \u00een iunie 2026. Valoarea investi\u021biei este de 2.184 milioane lei, iar progresul fizic al lucr\u0103rilor este de 27 la sut\u0103.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calea ferat\u0103 Simeria \u2013 Arad, a\u0219teptat\u0103 \u00een 2026 \u2013 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Calea ferat\u0103 Arad \u2013 Simeria \u2013 Alba Iulia a fost numit\u0103 \u00een trecut \u201ePrima Cale Ferat\u0103 Ardelean\u0103\u201d, dup\u0103 compania care i-a \u00eenceput construc\u021bia la mijlocul secolului al XIX-lea. Magistrala de pe Valea Mure\u0219ului a fost inaugurat\u0103 \u00een 1868, \u00eens\u0103 lucr\u0103rile de modernizare a liniei Arad \u2013 Simeria, \u00een lungime de 141 de kilometri, o vor transforma \u00eentr-unul dintre cele mai rapide \u0219i mai sigure trasee feroviare din Rom\u00e2nia. Investi\u021bia total\u0103, finan\u021bat\u0103 de statul rom\u00e2n \u0219i Uniunea European\u0103, dep\u0103\u0219e\u0219te dou\u0103 miliarde de euro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen 2017 au \u00eenceput lucr\u0103rile la cele patru tronsoane ale magistralei feroviare care leag\u0103 jude\u021bele Hunedoara \u0219i Arad. Proiectul vizeaz\u0103 modernizarea infrastructurii \u0219i reconfigurarea traseului, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t viteza de circula\u021bie a trenurilor s\u0103 poat\u0103 cre\u0219te p\u00e2n\u0103 la 160 de kilometri pe or\u0103. Au fost m\u0103rite lungimea \u0219i raza curbelor, unele curbe fiind eliminate, a fost crescut\u0103 stabilitatea terasamentelor, iar nivelul liniei ferate \u00een zonele inundabile a fost ridicat.<\/p>\n<p>Planurile au cuprins construc\u021bia a 60 de kilometri de traseu complet nou \u00eentre Simeria \u0219i Arad, realizarea unor tuneluri \u0219i ridicarea a nou\u0103 poduri peste Mure\u0219, fa\u021b\u0103 de unul singur existent pe vechiul traseu, la Br\u0103ni\u0219ca.<\/p>\n<p>De asemenea, nou\u0103 sta\u021bii de cale ferat\u0103 vor fi modernizate. Lucr\u0103rile la Gara Simeria, construit\u0103 \u00een anii 1900, au ajuns la final. \u00cen schimb, cl\u0103direa de c\u0103l\u0103tori a sta\u021biei CFR Deva a fost demolat\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 autoriza\u021biile necesare, iar lucr\u0103rile la noua gar\u0103 nu au mai \u00eenceput, \u0219ansele de finalizare p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 2027 fiind extrem de reduse.<\/p>\n\n<p>La aproape un deceniu de la \u00eenceperea lucr\u0103rilor, niciunul dintre cele patru loturi nu este finalizat complet. \u00cen 2025, \u0219antierul a \u00eenregistrat dou\u0103 premiere. Conform estim\u0103rilor publicate de CFR, aproximativ 119 kilometri au termen de finalizare \u00een 2026, iar 22 de kilometri \u00een 2027.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stadiul lucr\u0103rilor pe magistrala de pe Valea Mure\u0219ului<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Subtronsonul 2a, cu o lungime de 42 de kilometri, este realizat de Asocierea Webuild \u2013 FCC \u2013 Salcef \u2013 Hitachi Rail (lot 2a). Contractul a fost semnat la 27 iulie 2017, av\u00e2nd \u00een prezent termenul estimat de finalizare \u00een martie 2026. Valoarea investi\u021biei este de 2.065 milioane lei, iar progresul fizic a ajuns la 97 la sut\u0103. Pe acest tronson au fost efectuate recep\u021bii pentru majoritatea lucr\u0103rilor.<\/p>\n\n<p>Subtronsonul 2b B\u00e2rzava \u2013 Ilteu, \u00een lungime de 36,04 kilometri, este executat de aceea\u0219i asociere (lot 2b). Contractul a fost semnat la 27 iulie 2017, iar termenul estimat de finalizare este aprilie 2026. Valoarea lucr\u0103rilor este de 2.295,12 milioane lei, iar progresul fizic a ajuns la 96 la sut\u0103. \u00cen 2025 au fost recep\u021bionate mai multe p\u0103r\u021bi din proiect, printre care segmentul de 16 kilometri dintre B\u00e2rzava \u0219i V\u0103r\u0103dia (jude\u021bul Arad), care include Tunelul Bata (603 metri).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_407466\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-407466\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.banatulazi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Tunelul-Batuta.-Foto-Asociatia-Pro-Infrastructura.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-407466\" src=\"https:\/\/www.banatulazi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Tunelul-Batuta.-Foto-Asociatia-Pro-Infrastructura.webp\" alt width=\"1333\" height=\"750\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-407466\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Tunelul B\u0103tu\u021ba. Foto: Asocia\u021bia Pro Infrastructur\u0103<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Subtronsonul 2c, \u00eentre Ilteu \u0219i Gurasada, are o lungime de 22 de kilometri \u0219i este realizat de Asocierea RailWorks. Contractul a fost semnat la 4 decembrie 2017, cu termen estimat de finalizare \u00een iulie 2027. Valoarea investi\u021biei este de 1.909 milioane lei, iar stadiul fizic este de 81 la sut\u0103. Pe unele segmente, precum Gurasada \u2013 C\u00e2mpuri Surduc, lucr\u0103rile au fost recep\u021bionate, \u00eens\u0103 finalizarea este \u00eent\u00e2rziat\u0103 pe un sector dificil de pe malul st\u00e2ng al Mure\u0219ului, care prevede construc\u021bia a 1,2 kilometri de tuneluri.<\/p>\n\n<p>Tronsonul 3, \u00eentre Gurasada \u0219i Simeria, are o lungime de 41 de kilometri \u0219i este executat de asocierea FCC Construcci\u00f3n S.A. \u2013 Webuild S.p.A. \u2013 Contratas y Ventas S.A. Contractul a fost semnat la 3 octombrie 2017, iar termenul estimat de finalizare este august 2026. Valoarea investi\u021biei este de 3.445,60 milioane lei, iar progresul fizic al lucr\u0103rilor este de 88 la sut\u0103. Din noiembrie 2025, a fost deschis\u0103 circula\u021bia pe firul I al unui tronson de \u0219ase kilometri construit de la zero pe un traseu complet nou, care include trei poduri peste r\u00e2ul Mure\u0219, cu o lungime total\u0103 de 1,3 kilometri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cele mai vechi c\u0103i ferate din Rom\u00e2nia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Primele c\u0103i ferate de pe teritoriul Rom\u00e2niei au fost construite la mijlocul secolului al XIX-lea, \u00een regiunea istoric\u0103 a Banatului. Cea mai veche dintre ele, Oravi\u021ba \u2013 R\u0103c\u0103\u0219dia \u2013 Iam (27 de kilometri), a fost inaugurat\u0103 \u00een 1856, fiind folosit\u0103 \u00een special pentru transportul c\u0103rbunelui de calitate excep\u021bional\u0103 (antracit), extras din Mina Anina (Cara\u0219-Severin), spre portul dun\u0103rean Bazia\u0219.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen anii urm\u0103tori, re\u021beaua feroviar\u0103 din vestul \u0219i sud-vestul Rom\u00e2niei a fost extins\u0103, \u00eencep\u00e2nd din Timi\u0219oara, cu construc\u021bia c\u0103ilor ferate Seghedin \u2013 Jimbolia \u2013 Timi\u0219oara (114 kilometri) \u0219i Timi\u0219oara \u2013 Stamora Moravi\u021ba \u2013 Jasenova (94 kilometri), realizate \u00een 1858. \u00cen urm\u0103toarele dou\u0103 decenii, Timi\u0219oara a devenit nodul central al re\u021belei feroviare din regiune, fiind conectat\u0103 cu ora\u0219ele Seghedin, Arad, Oravi\u021ba, Bazia\u0219, Lugoj, Caransebe\u0219 \u0219i Or\u0219ova, iar prin acestea cu Budapesta, Viena \u0219i Belgrad.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_407467\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-407467\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.banatulazi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Calea-ferata-Oravita-Anina.-Sursa-CFR-Calatori.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-407467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.banatulazi.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Calea-ferata-Oravita-Anina.-Sursa-CFR-Calatori.webp\" alt width=\"1333\" height=\"750\"><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-407467\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Calea ferat\u0103 Oravi\u021ba -Anina. Sursa: CFR C\u0103l\u0103tori<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prima cale ferat\u0103 care lega regiunile istorice ale Banatului \u0219i Ardealului a fost inaugurat\u0103 \u00een ziua de Cr\u0103ciun a anului 1868. Atunci, primul tren plecat din Arad a ajuns la Alba Iulia, travers\u00e2nd Valea Mure\u0219ului pe un traseu de 211 kilometri. Leg\u0103tura feroviar\u0103 dintre Banat \u0219i Rom\u00e2nia a fost realizat\u0103 din 1879, prin linia Timi\u0219oara \u2013 Lugoj \u2013 Caransebe\u0219 \u2013 Or\u0219ova \u2013 V\u00e2rciorova (Por\u021bile de Fier), conectat\u0103 la magistrala Bucure\u0219ti \u2013 V\u00e2rciorova.<\/p>\n<p>Cea mai veche cale ferat\u0103 montan\u0103, \u00eenc\u0103 func\u021bional\u0103, de pe actualul teritoriu al Rom\u00e2niei a fost construit\u0103 la mijlocul secolului al XIX-lea, \u00een Mun\u021bii Banatului, pentru a lega ora\u0219ele miniere Oravi\u021ba \u0219i Anina. A fost deschis\u0103 traficului \u00een jurul anului 1863, pe un traseu de 33 de kilometri, dintre care mai mult de 20 de kilometri au presupus str\u0103pungeri de dealuri, construc\u021bia a 10 viaducte cu o lungime total\u0103 de 843 de metri \u0219i a 14 tuneluri, \u00eensum\u00e2nd 2.084 de metri.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tdi_66\" class=\"td-gallery td-slide-on-2-columns\">\n<div
