Former Arch Enemy<\/strong> vocalist Angela Gossow<\/strong> has thrown her full support behind the band’s newly unveiled singer Lauren Hart<\/strong>, calling her “Angela<\/strong> reincarnate” in a heartfelt social media post.<\/p>\n Hart<\/strong> \u2014 previously the frontwoman for Once Human<\/strong> \u2014 was officially introduced as Arch Enemy<\/strong>‘s new vocalist last week with the release of the single “To The Last Breath.” Her arrival comes just days after Gossow<\/strong> publicly dismissed speculation that she would rejoin the band following the departure of Alissa White-Gluz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n On Sunday (February 22), Gossow<\/strong> shared a photo of herself and Hart<\/strong>, along with a glowing endorsement of the singer’s talent and character.<\/p>\n “My sister at [heart]. Such a warm and genuine human. We share the same taste in music, the same vocal technique and dedication to music, people and fitness. We have known each other personally since many years. Been following her journey with Once Human<\/strong>, was hoping for her breakthrough. Then I crossed my fingers for her joining another known metal band. Didn’t work out. She never gave up!”<\/p>\n Gossow<\/strong> revealed that she had even explored building a new project around Hart<\/strong>, envisioning a sound blending Dimmu Borgir<\/strong>, Arch Enemy<\/strong>, In Flames<\/strong>, Machine Head<\/strong>, and Once Human<\/strong> influences.<\/p>\n “I asked her to send in various cover tracks to get a full picture on her vocal skills (she crushed!) and started scouting for musicians fitting her talent. And then things happened in the Arch Enemy<\/strong> camp.”<\/p>\n The longtime Arch Enemy<\/strong> figurehead admitted she seriously considered rejoining the band herself. “I thought hard about rejoining the band. I looked at my life, my age, my still young children, my workload as the manager for [Arch Enemy<\/strong>]. And the answer was no. Both emotionally and also rationally.”<\/p>\n Instead, she championed Hart during the audition process. “We received many applications from great vocalists all over the world. I put Lauren<\/strong> forward to the guys. Michael<\/strong> [Amott<\/strong>, Arch Enemy<\/strong>‘s founding guitarist] connected. She recorded vocals in December 2025. She rose. Like a Phoenix to the sky. So intense. So glorious. She is Angela<\/strong> reincarnate. Exceeding my skills. Ready to last for decades. I am honoured and humbled to be working with her. Finally.”<\/p>\n Gossow<\/strong> also offered words of encouragement to White-Gluz<\/strong> as she moves forward with solo material: “All the best to Alissa<\/strong>! She is gonna kill it with her solo album! Wanted to do it since 2016. She has got some great female talent at her side and will leave her mark in the world of metal for sure:)”<\/p>\n And for fans hoping to see Gossow<\/strong> back onstage?
