After selling more than half a million tickets across North America for their 2026 Fifty Something run, Rush<\/strong> co-founders Geddy Lee <\/strong>and Alex Lifeson<\/strong> have confirmed that the celebration will continue into 2027 with newly announced dates across Europe and South America.<\/p>\n The shows mark Rush<\/strong>‘s first European performances since 2013 and their first visit to South America in 17 years \u2013 a long-awaited return for fans who’ve been holding out hope since the band stepped back from touring.<\/p>\n The tour kicks off on June 7 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA and wraps up on April 10 at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, FI (so far). Get your tickets here.<\/p>\n 6\/7 Los Angeles, CA Kia Forum Originally unveiled as a 22-date North American run in 2026, the Fifty Something tour sold out almost instantly, prompting multiple additions. The trek now spans 58 shows across 24 cities in Canada, the United States and Mexico, cementing the enduring appetite for the band’s catalogue five decades on. The tour celebrates Rush<\/strong>‘s music and legacy while paying tribute to late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart<\/strong>, whose influence remains foundational to the band’s identity.<\/p>\n For this new chapter, Lee<\/strong> and Lifeson<\/strong> will be joined by German drummer Anika Nilles<\/strong>, known for her solo work and for performing more than 60 shows with Jeff Beck<\/strong>, as well as keyboardist Loren Gold<\/strong>, who has toured with The Who<\/strong> and Roger Daltrey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Speaking about the scale and ambition of the run, Lee<\/strong> said: “We can’t wait to get back to all these cities we haven’t played in so long, as well as hitting some new places we’ve yet to play. Both Alex<\/strong> and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika<\/strong> and now Loren<\/strong>, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving, playing some different songs on different nights.”<\/p>\n He added that much of the classic Rush<\/strong> touring machine is being reassembled behind the scenes. “We are thrilled that many of our longstanding crew have come back to help us design the kind of Rush<\/strong> show that fans have grown accustomed to expect from us.
