Here are a bunch of &#8217;em that deserve more love!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Here Comes The Sun&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ghost<\/strong>&#8216;s debut album <em>Opus Eponymous<\/em> had one hell of a Japanese edition bonus track \u2013 a cover of <strong>The Beatles<\/strong>&#8216; &#8220;Here Comes The Sun&#8221;. The cover is evil as hell and sadly seems to be forgotten among the band&#8217;s more recent, popular songs. Bring back &#8220;Here Comes The Sun&#8221;!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost - Here Comes The Sun\" width=\"880\" height=\"660\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gd4QLcJj-3U?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Elizabeth&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Elizabeth&#8221;. The first <strong>Ghost<\/strong> single way back in 2010, and the fourth track on <em>Opus Eponymous<\/em> that sadly that had to follow the all-time banger &#8220;Ritual&#8221;. That big, creepy chorus with the dissonant organ in the background! Fortunately, Ghost chose <strong>ABBA<\/strong>&#8216;s 1977 track &#8220;I&#8217;m A Marionette&#8221; and made a doom banger that more people need to fall in love with.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"I'm A Marionette\" width=\"880\" height=\"660\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-vyT6zvSNps?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Body And Blood&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>Listen. If you&#8217;re not singing &#8220;his body and blood, sharing in common&#8221; to yourself immediately after this song, you may be unable to retain hooks in songs. I&#8217;m pretty sure I&#8217;ve had this song stuck in my head for about a decade now.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost | Body and Blood | Lyrics\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fYzE_7EHwWg?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Deus In Absentia&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Deus In Absentia&#8221; is an incredible <strong>Ghost<\/strong> album closer but sadly had to follow-up <em>Infestissumam<\/em>&#8216;s &#8220;Monstrance Clock&#8221;, an untouchable anthem. &#8220;Deus In Absentia&#8221; is a slow-burner that relies on being unsettling, and boy does it work.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Deus In Absentia\" width=\"880\" height=\"660\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oNcHF4gs8BI?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Zenith&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Zenith&#8221; was relegated to being a 10&#8243; single in a <em>Meliora<\/em> box set only, and eventually made its way online thanks to the <em>13 Commandments<\/em> compilation. I remember first hearing this song and thinking &#8220;oh, that&#8217;s evil <strong>Van Halen<\/strong>.&#8221; I still think that. This song 100% rules.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost - Griftwood (Official Audio)\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d6WA06fNscc?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Stay&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>I tried not to go too hard on the covers for this list, but <strong>Ghost<\/strong>&#8216;s rendition of <strong>Shakespears Sister<\/strong>&#8216;s 1988 hit &#8220;Stay&#8221; is just too perfect. It was a standalone single, it featured <strong>Patrick Wilson<\/strong>, and it&#8217;s awesome.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost - Stay ft. Patrick Wilson (Official Audio)\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/agXKgOxKgMU?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Guiding Lights&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>How has <strong>Ghost<\/strong> not immediately started playing this song live? &#8220;Guiding Lights&#8221; practically took the lighter out of my own pocket and raised it in the air for me. If you&#8217;re not singing along to this chorus, you&#8217;re dead to me.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost - Guiding Lights (Official Audio)\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rv7jSq1Qkhs?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;De Profundis Borealis&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;De Profundis Borealis&#8221; comes right after &#8220;Guiding Lights&#8221; on <em>Skelet\u00e1<\/em> and it&#8217;s the perfect one-two punch. &#8220;Guiding Lights&#8221; gets you singing along, &#8220;De Profundis Borealis&#8221; gears you up to run through a wall. Simple!<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ghost - De Profundis Borealis (Official Audio)\" width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8ixwcLp5ZU4?feature=oembed\" frameborder allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;It&#8217;s A Sin&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>Yeah, another cover. I know. But <strong>Ghost<\/strong> only recently gave a proper unveiling of their 2018 cover of <strong>Pet Shop Boys<\/strong>&#8216; &#8220;It&#8217;s A Sin&#8221; and this song is a behemoth \u2013 harmonically and structurally, anyway.
