Investi\u021bia este necesar\u0103 \u0219i a\u0219teptat\u0103 de ani de zile. Cu toate acestea, sub umbrela acestei moderniz\u0103ri, Sucursala Regional\u0103 de C\u0103i Ferate Timi\u0219oara (SRCF Timi\u0219oara), \u00eempreun\u0103 cu Ministerul Transporturilor \u0219i Infrastructurii, inten\u021bioneaz\u0103 s\u0103 demoleze o serie de cl\u0103diri feroviare istorice care fac parte din patrimoniul industrial al Banatului. Pe tronsonul Lugoj\u2013Timi\u0219oara Est urmeaz\u0103 s\u0103 fie demolate patru g\u0103ri trainice, din c\u0103r\u0103mid\u0103, construite \u00eentre 1875-1876: Remetea Mare, Reca\u0219, Topolov\u0103\u021bu Mare \u0219i Belin\u021b. De asemenea, sunt vizate \u0219i sta\u021biile istorice de alimentare cu ap\u0103 din Topolov\u0103\u021bu Mare \u0219i Lugoj, folosite odinioar\u0103 pentru alimentarea locomotivelor cu aburi. Linia Timi\u0219oara\u2013Or\u0219ova a fost realizat\u0103 \u00eentre 1875 \u0219i 1878 de Societatea privilegiat\u0103 austriac\u0103 de c\u0103i ferate (StEG), sub coordonarea directorului August W. de Serres, fiind una dintre cele mai importante investi\u021bii feroviare din Banat. Sec\u021biunea Timi\u0219oara\u2013Lugoj\u2013Caransebe\u0219 (100 km) a fost dat\u0103 \u00een folosin\u021b\u0103, dup\u0103 10 luni de la \u00eenceperea lucr\u0103rilor, pe 22 octombrie 1876 \u0219i a inclus: 10 g\u0103ri, 52 de cantoane \u0219i dou\u0103 poduri, peste Bega \u0219i Timi\u0219. \u00cen urma lucr\u0103rilor de electrificare a liniei din 1974, o parte dintre cl\u0103diri au fost modificate sau reconstruite (Lugoj \u2013 gar\u0103 recent demolata!). Tocmai de aceea, pu\u021binele obiective care au supravie\u021buit p\u00e2n\u0103 ast\u0103zi reprezint\u0103 m\u0103rturii valoroase ale unei etape definitorii pentru dezvoltarea industrial\u0103 a Banatului<\/em>\u201d, a afirmat Cristian-Oliviu Gaido\u0219, muzeograf \u0219i istoric de art\u0103 la Muzeul de Istorie, Etnografie \u0219i Art\u0103 Plastic\u0103 Lugoj.<\/p>\n<p>Muzeograful semnaleaz\u0103 faptul c\u0103 noile g\u0103ri care vor fi construite \u00een cadrul proiectului nu reflect\u0103 identitatea cultural\u0103 a Banatului.<\/p>\n<p>\u201e<em>Noile g\u0103ri, reduse la volume banale ce amintesc de ni\u0219te \u00abcutii de chibrituri\u00bb, tr\u0103deaz\u0103 o arhitectur\u0103 rece \u0219i standardizat\u0103, executat\u0103 din tabl\u0103, panouri sandwich \u0219i t\u00e2mpl\u0103rie din PVC sau aluminiu, f\u0103r\u0103 nicio preocupare pentru contextul istoric. De\u0219i func\u021bionale, aceste cl\u0103diri au un impact vizual puternic asupra peisajului rural \u0219i nu reflect\u0103 identitatea cultural\u0103 a Banatului, fragment\u00e2nd ambientul tradi\u021bional \u0219i \u00eenlocuind reperele istorice (g\u0103rile austro-ungare) cu o arhitectur\u0103 generic\u0103. CFR invoc\u0103 motive de siguran\u021b\u0103 \u0219i costuri ridicate pentru reabilitare. Totu\u0219i, din planurile de situa\u021bie, pe care le-am studiat, reiese c\u0103 vechile cl\u0103diri nu se suprapun cu noile construc\u021bii, astfel \u00eenc\u00e2t demolarea lor nu este justificat\u0103! Facem un apel public ca m\u0103car gara Belin\u021b \u2014 cea mai bine conservat\u0103 \u0219i p\u0103str\u00e2nd elemente originale de arhitectur\u0103 (volumul corpului central, organizarea interioar\u0103, sal\u0103 de a\u0219teptare, o parte din ancadramentele u\u0219ilor) precum \u0219i sta\u021biile de ap\u0103 din Topolov\u0103\u021bu Mare \u0219i Lugoj s\u0103 fie salvate.
