Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deputies received a report of a possible missing person around 11 p.m. Wednesday, February 18.<\/strong> Investigators quickly located the man\u2019s vehicle in the Northstar parking lot and determined he had gone skiing earlier in the day but had not returned as expected.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Related: <\/strong><a the Placer County Office of Emergency Management organized resources overnight, and the Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue team was activated early Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>15 skiers, supported by a snowcat and two snowmobiles, deployed to search the mountain.<\/strong> Members of Northstar Ski Patrol also assisted in the operation.
