future could arrive &#8220;late summer&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nJudge shared the information during a signing session at Canada&#8217;s Fan Expo, where his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/RTJe0WGFuIM\">words were captured<\/a> (it&#8217;s unclear if was aware he was being recorded) by streamer Fuzhpuzy. In the video, Judge confirmed he won&#8217;t be lending his vocal talents to Sony Santa Monica&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/god-of-war-goes-2d-with-pixelated-sons-of-sparta-which-is-out-right-now-as-original-ps2-trilogy-eyes-up-the-remake-treatment\">recently announced God of War Greek trilogy remakes<\/a> &#8211; Kratos actor TC Carson will return for those, he claimed &#8211; but he did tease other news is coming.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to Judge, who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/kratos-is-now-played-by-stargate-sg-1s-christopher-judge\">voiced Kratos since 2018&#8217;s God of War<\/a>, fans will &#8220;be hearing about what we&#8217;re doing probably late summer&#8221;, suggesting Sony Santa Monica might be ready to unveil a follow-up to 2022&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/god-of-war-ragnarok\">God of War Ragnar\u00f6k<\/a> later this year. That, though, is far from a certainty, and it&#8217;s possible Judge is working  with the studio in another capacity.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAs yet, the most substantial hint toward Sony Santa Monica&#8217;s next project emerged last year, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/sony-santa-monicas-next-game-is-reportedly-not-a-new-ip-but-it-might-feel-like-one\">Bloomberg&#8217;s Jason Schreier teased<\/a> the studio&#8217;s &#8220;next big thing&#8221; &#8211; headed up by long-time God of War director and producer Cory Balrog &#8211; won&#8217;t be a new IP, but &#8220;might feel like one&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"injection_placeholder\" data-position=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Maybe that&#8217;s why people are confused,&#8221; Schreier wrote in response to rumours surrounding the studio&#8217;s next project. &#8220;Please don&#8217;t ask me more questions about this &#8211; if I wind up reporting more information at any point in the future it&#8217;ll be in an article, not on a forum.&#8221; He also noted &#8220;the sci-fi stuff (that people have apparently believed for years now?) is nonsense.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nCould this be a radical reinvention of the God of War series or something else entirely?
