Alongside this announcement, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MarathonTheGame\/status\/2024295371095363688\">a 20 second snippet of one of the songs was uploaded to X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The soundtrack, composed by Ryan Lott of Son Lux, has been sprinkled throughout pre-release trailers for the game. It&#8217;s already garnered attention from fans, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/why-is-there-such-a-bustling-community-around-marathons-soundtrack-when-the-game-isnt-even-out-yet-one-producer-tells-us-why\">who have begun making remixes of their own<\/a> in preparation for the full release.<\/p>\n<p>Marathon,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/marathon-isnt-just-favouring-playstation-players-with-exclusive-cosmetics-xbox-and-steam-players-promised-bonus-loot-too\"> which is due to host a server slam public test in later February<\/a>, seems to be well-positioned for its launch. The game <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/marathon-soars-to-steams-top-sellers-after-release-date-reveal\">soared to the top of Steam&#8217;s Top Sellers page<\/a> when pre-orders were made available, and it got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/sony-state-of-play-february-2026-everything-announced\">a new trailer during this month&#8217;s Sony State of Play<\/a>.
