\u2018taught\u2019 him a lot, with the Italian hinting at subtle changes ahead of his debut at the ATP 500 event in Doha.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis fans last saw the Italian during his dramatic five-set loss to Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals of the Australian Open.<\/p>\n<p>The match ended his five-match winning streak against the Serbian legend, having also won nine consecutive sets prior to the clash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis365.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\">Sinner<\/a> was the two-time defending champion in Melbourne, and his Grand Slam haul gap with rival Carlos Alcaraz \u2013 the eventual champion \u2013 was widened to three.<\/p>\n<p>He will next participate in the ATP 500 event in Doha, February 16 \u2013 21, where he will make his debut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe match against Nole taught me a lot,\u201d reflected Sinner to Sky Sports Italia in Qatar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it was a great match, both on my part and on his.
