Once considered an \u201coverlooked\u201d entry in the German marque\u2019s history, this ultra-limited transaxle sports car\u2014one of only 14 built\u2014is now positioned to set a new market record for front-engined Porsches.\n<\/p>\n<p>This particular example is distinguished by its \u201cPaint to Sample\u201d Zermatt Silver exterior, paired with a cabin upholstered in black leather and corduroy. The vehicle\u2019s provenance is equally notable; it was ordered new by Czech tennis legend and Grand Slam winner Helena Sukov\u00e1, who kept the car in Monaco until 2014. Documentation indicates the vehicle has had only four owners since new and shows just 18,872 miles on the odometer.\n<\/p>\n<p>Under the hood, the Turbo S represents the pinnacle of the 968 platform\u2019s engineering. It is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-four engine enhanced with a KKK turbocharger, an air-to-air intercooler, and a modified engine management system.
