Louisville dark punk stalwarts<\/strong> Fotocrime are back with a more furious and aggressive tone on their forthcoming LP, Security<\/em>, and the second single, “Unthinkable,” perfectly captures the record’s raw energy. The track examines modern geopolitical panic and the specter of global conflict, inching toward total annihilation.<\/p>\n The song opens with a smashing drum performance by Jay Weinberg<\/strong> (Suicidal Tendencies<\/strong>, ex-Slipknot<\/strong>), whose double-time hi-hats and tribal rhythms provide an indestructible backbone. Layered atop this is a Cold War\u2013era synth stab and the throat of a bona fide metal legend: Barney Greenway<\/strong> of Napalm Death<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Fotocrime<\/strong> mastermind Ryan Patterson<\/strong> elaborated on the collaboration: “‘Unthinkable’ is a dystopian anthem about the horrors facing the world.
