The first trailer for Pete Ohs\u2019 Erupcja<\/em> (Polish for \u201ceruption\u201d) has dropped. Charli XCX stars in the film alongside Lena G\u00f3ra, Jeremy O. Harris, and Will Madden. In the clip, Charli XCX\u2019s Bethany begins to reassess her relationship with her boyfriend (Madden) as she waits out the aftermath of a volcanic interruption in Warsaw. Watch it below.<\/p>\n

After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Erupcja<\/em> hits theaters on Friday, April 17. Ohs co-wrote the script with all of the movie\u2019s lead actors. Charli XCX is currently starring in The Moment<\/em>, Aidan Zamiri\u2019s mockumentary about her Brat<\/em> tour, and is also set to appear in Daniel Goldhaber\u2019s Faces of Death<\/em>, Cathy Yan\u2019s The Gallerist<\/em>, and Gregg Araki\u2019s I Want Your Sex<\/em>. This Friday, she\u2019ll share Wuthering Heights<\/em>, a new album that accompanies Emerald Fennell\u2019s film adaptation of the Emily Bront\u00eb novel.<\/p>\n
