Charlie Puth sang \u201cThe Star Spangled Banner\u201d at Super Bowl LX tonight, February 8, performing on a Rhodes keyboard alongside a choir and small orchestra. Also ahead of kickoff, Brandi Carlile performed an acoustic rendition of \u201cAmerica the Beautiful,\u201d and Coco Jones sang \u201cLift Every Voice and Sing.\u201d Watch Puth, Carlile, and Jones\u2019 performances below.<\/p>\n

Green Day first opened the pre-game festivities with a medley of American Idiot<\/em> hits including \u201cHoliday\u201d and \u201cAmerican Idiot\u201d\u2014although the band omitted the more political portions of both songs. Later, Bad Bunny played the official Super Bowl halftime show.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s Super Bowl pre-game performers included Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle, and Ledisi. Lady Gaga also took to the streets of New Orleans to play \u201cHold My Hand,\u201d her original song from Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>. During the halftime show, Kendrick Lamar brought out SZA, Serena Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson.<\/p>\n
