While the heritage skate company had seen some renewed widespread adoption by way of the Knu School, the brand\u2019s collab with Satoshi Nakamoto is arguably <em>the<\/em> watershed moment, leading to renewed interest in their staple models that continued through several series, including the Greg Betty-designed \u201cSouvenir\u201d Old Skool and \u201cCharm\u201d Authentic.<\/p>\n<p>In most of those social media\u2013dominating pairs, the Vans OTW label is constant, both a launchpad for pinnacle product and often a glue on the collaborative front. The latter crops up again as a new player enters the conversation, with first looks at the Imran Potato x Vans Authentic beginning to circulate.<\/p>\n<p>Moovsi\u2019s cheetah print hallmark is immediately evident, having last been visited on his 2022 Knu School under the brand, but a shift to multi-colored color blocking is the real step forward. The right shoe takes on the warmer end of the color wheel with tan, pink, and red, while the left wears teal in its back half before a white\/black\/yellow takes over at the forefoot.
