Bonnie \u201cPrince\u201d Billy is readying his second album in as many years. We Are Together Again<\/em>, due March 6 via No Quarter, was recorded in Louisville, Kentucky, with Will Oldham\u2019s co-producer and engineer Jim Marlowe. Leading the record is \u201cThey Keep Trying to Find You,\u201d which comes with a video choreographed and directed by Abi Elliott. In it, Oldham costumes up as a shaggy woodland monster, which\u2014after a more nimble inhabitant seemingly swaps into the outfit\u2014proceeds to engage a human in an elaborate dance routine.<\/p>\n

Oldham says in a press release, \u201cThis record was made closer to the Ohio River than any I\u2019ve been involved with since 1993\u2019s Palace Brothers There Is No-One What Will Take Care of You<\/em>. Louisville\u2019s current-and-past vital musical community is highlighted on every song.\u00a0Catherine Irwin, who sang on the BPB release Ease Down the Road<\/em>, is back here on \u2018Hey Little\u2019 and \u2018Vietnam Sunshine.\u2019\u00a0 Lacey Guthrie, Tory Fisher and Katie Peabody, the three front women of the band Duchess, sing together on the opening and closing songs, parallel odes to the beast that is fear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oldham\u2019s follow-up to last year\u2019s The Purple Bird<\/em> features contributions from his current tourmates, woodwind player Jacob Duncan and multi-instrumentalist Thomas Deakin, as well as Ryder McNair, Chris Bush, Ned Oldham, and Erin Hill.<\/p>\n
