href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/versace\"><span>Versace<\/span><\/a><span> has had a pretty eventful 12 months. First up, back in March 2025, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/donatella-versace\"><span>Donatella Versace<\/span><\/a><span> said goodbye to her creative director role after 27 years at the top. She was quickly replaced by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/dario-vitale\"><span>Dario Vitale<\/span><\/a><span>, a former design director at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/prada\"><span>Prada<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s little sister brand, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/miu-miu\"><span>Miu Miu<\/span><\/a><span>. Vitale presented his first collection in September 2025 to critical acclaim \u2013 but then came murmurings that Mrs P and the Prada Group were eyeing up an imminent bid to take over Versace. The deal went through in early December, and just two days later, Vitale was let go from his role after just eight months. Whew!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Today, Versace officially closes that chapter on the Vitale era, exclusively sharing with Dazed Vitale\u2019s first and last collection campaign. Though the former creative director did previously unveil his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/68653\/1\/dario-vitale-ropes-in-creative-friends-to-tease-his-versace-vision\"><span>\u2018Embodied\u2019<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/69028\/1\/versace-joseph-quinn-luna-carmoon-greca-eyewear-campaign-haunted-horny\"><span>Greca eyewear<\/span><\/a><span> campaigns while working at the house, today\u2019s release is his first proper ready-to-wear campaign, featuring designs from last September\u2019s SS26 collection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For the campaign, the house has tapped not one, not two, but three major creatives, enlisting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/steven-meisel\"><span>Steven Meisel<\/span><\/a><span>, Frank Lebon and Tania Franco Klein to shoot the images. \u201cThree distinct visions, coalescing to stir a feeling and attitude,\u201d the house said in its statement. \u201cA dialogue invoking the fundamental essence of Versace: the confronting glamour of Steven Meisel, the raw intimacy of Frank Lebon, and the cinematic power of Tania Franco Klein.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<figure class=\"inline-img expandable dev-view-hide\" data-img=\"bec0a2c2-3df7-45d2-b48c-b3e600a5519f\" data-src=\"https:\/\/images-prod.dazeddigital.com\/2000\/azure\/dazed-prod\/1430\/6\/1436133.jpg\" data-img-aspect-ratio-type=\"landscape\" data-img-aspect-ratio=\"1.25\"><span class=\"has-css-custom-props image-container\" data-aspect-ratio-type=\"landscape\"><span class=\"preserve-aspect-ratio\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Versace SS26 campaign\" class=\"img\" height=\"2400\" src=\"https:\/\/analyse.optim.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1436133-1.jpg\" width=\"3000\" title=\"1436133-1\"><\/span><\/span><figcaption class=\"img-caption\"><span class=\"caption\">Versace SS26 campaign<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Photography Frank <span class=\"nowrap\">Le Bon<\/span><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"embed-content\" data-embed-type=\"raw-html\">\n<p><span>Of the three creatives, Meisel is, of course, the Versace icon. The American photographer has shot numerous campaigns over the past three decades, including Amber Valletta and Georgina Grenville as Stepford wives with huge blonde bouffants for AW00, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/madonna\"><span>Madonna<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s iconic SS95 shoot, where she played croquet and posed with babies. First up, back in March 2025, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/donatella-versace\"><span>Donatella Versace<\/span><\/a><span> said goodbye to her creative director role after 27 years at the top. She was quickly replaced by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/dario-vitale\"><span>Dario Vitale<\/span><\/a><span>, a former design director at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/prada\"><span>Prada<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s little sister brand, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/miu-miu\"><span>Miu Miu<\/span><\/a><span>. Vitale presented his first collection in September 2025 to critical acclaim \u2013 but then came murmurings that Mrs P and the Prada Group were eyeing up an imminent bid to take over Versace. The deal went through in early December, and just two days later, Vitale was let go from his role after just eight months. Whew!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Today, Versace officially closes that chapter on the Vitale era, exclusively sharing with Dazed Vitale\u2019s first and last collection campaign. Though the former creative director did previously unveil his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/68653\/1\/dario-vitale-ropes-in-creative-friends-to-tease-his-versace-vision\"><span>\u2018Embodied\u2019<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/69028\/1\/versace-joseph-quinn-luna-carmoon-greca-eyewear-campaign-haunted-horny\"><span>Greca eyewear<\/span><\/a><span> campaigns while working at the house, today\u2019s release is his first proper ready-to-wear campaign, featuring designs from last September\u2019s SS26 collection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For the campaign, the house has tapped not one, not two, but three major creatives, enlisting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/steven-meisel\"><span>Steven Meisel<\/span><\/a><span>, Frank Lebon and Tania Franco Klein to shoot the images. \u201cThree distinct visions, coalescing to stir a feeling and attitude,\u201d the house said in its statement. \u201cA dialogue invoking the fundamental essence of Versace: the confronting glamour of Steven Meisel, the raw intimacy of Frank Lebon, and the cinematic power of Tania Franco Klein.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<figure class=\"inline-img expandable dev-view-hide\" data-img=\"bec0a2c2-3df7-45d2-b48c-b3e600a5519f\" data-src=\"https:\/\/images-prod.dazeddigital.com\/2000\/azure\/dazed-prod\/1430\/6\/1436133.jpg\" data-img-aspect-ratio-type=\"landscape\" data-img-aspect-ratio=\"1.25\"><span class=\"has-css-custom-props image-container\" data-aspect-ratio-type=\"landscape\"><span class=\"preserve-aspect-ratio\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Versace SS26 campaign\" class=\"img\" height=\"2400\" src=\"https:\/\/analyse.optim.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1436133-1.jpg\" width=\"3000\" title=\"1436133-1\"><\/span><\/span><figcaption class=\"img-caption\"><span class=\"caption\">Versace SS26 campaign<\/span><span class=\"credit\">Photography Frank <span class=\"nowrap\">Le Bon<\/span><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"embed-content\" data-embed-type=\"raw-html\">\n<p><span>Of the three creatives, Meisel is, of course, the Versace icon. The American photographer has shot numerous campaigns over the past three decades, including Amber Valletta and Georgina Grenville as Stepford wives with huge blonde bouffants for AW00, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/madonna\"><span>Madonna<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s iconic SS95 shoot, where she played croquet and posed with babies.
