Sombr celebrated his Best New Artist nomination with a performance at the 2026 Grammys. Dripped out in a glitzy Valentino outfit, the New York singer-songwriter sang the I Barely Know Her<\/em> track \u201c12 to 12\u201d as he moved through the audience. Watch it go down below.<\/p>\n

Sombr was up against Addison Rae (who appears in his \u201c12 to 12\u201d video), Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Katseye, Lola Young, the Mar\u00edas, and Olivia Dean (who ultimately won) for Best New Artist. Sombr\u2019s debut album did not pick up any nominations in its own right, but the combined billion streams of his Hot 100 hits \u201cBack to Friends\u201d and \u201cUndressed\u201d will likely keep him in good stead with the Recording Academy.<\/p>\n
