Jelly Roll has won the inaugural award for Best Contemporary Country Album at the 2026 Grammys. His album Beautifully Broken<\/em> beat out records by Eric Church (Evangeline vs. the Machine<\/em>), Kelsea Ballerini (Patterns<\/em>), Miranda Lambert (Postcards From Texas<\/em>), and Tyler Childers (Snipe Hunter<\/em>).<\/p>\n

This is Jelly Roll\u2019s third win of the night out of three nominations. He\u2019s also taking home Best Country Duo\/Group Performance for the Shaboozey duet \u201cAmen\u201d and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance\/Song for \u201cHard Fought Hallelujah\u201d with Brandon Lake.<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9 was awarded the 2025 Best Country Album Grammy for Cowboy Carter<\/em>. It was her first year being nominated in any country music categories. (Nearly a decade prior, the Grammys\u2019 country music committee had rejected her submission of \u201cDaddy Lessons,\u201d from 2016\u2019s Lemonade<\/em>.) The Recording Academy subsequently announced that it was splitting up the Best Country Album category into two awards: Best Contemporary Country Album and Best Traditional Country Album.<\/p>\n
