Tyler, the Creator has won the inaugural Best Album Cover award at the 2026 Grammys. The Chromakopia<\/em> cover art emerged ahead of competition by Bad Bunny\u2019s Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos<\/em>, Perfume Genius\u2019 Glory<\/em>, Wet Leg\u2019s Moisturizer<\/em>, and Djo\u2019s The Crux. Chromakopia<\/em>\u2019s art directors were Shaun Llewellyn and Luis \u201cPanch\u201d Perez.<\/p>\n

The creation of the Best Album Cover award followed a shakeup in the packaging field this year. The award for the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package\u2014in which Jeff Mangum was a surprise 2024 nominee\u2014has now been merged into the old Best Recording Package category. The new award \u201crecognizes the creativity and work of the art directors\u2014in many cases, in tandem with the artists themselves\u2014behind some of the year’s most beautifully designed album artwork,\u201d per an article on the Grammy website.<\/p>\n
