Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have won Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance at the 2026 Grammy Awards for their rendition of \u201cDefying Gravity,\u201d from Wicked.<\/em> The duo claimed the prize ahead of Katseye\u2019s \u201cGabriella\u201d; Ros\u00e9 and Bruno Mars\u2019 \u201cApt.\u201d; SZA and Kendrick Lamar\u2019s \u201c30 for 30\u201d; and \u201cGolden,\u201d performed by KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>\u2019 fictional girl group Huntr\/x. Grande and Erivo were not on hand to accept the award.<\/p>\n

Grande has taken home this trophy once before, in 2021, for \u201cRain On Me,\u201d her duet with Lady Gaga from Chromatica<\/em>. For her role as Glinda in Wicked<\/em>, she earned a Best Supporting Actress nod at the 2025 Academy Awards, but the film\u2019s sequel, Wicked: For Good<\/em>, was completely shut out during this year\u2019s Oscar nominations. This is Erivo\u2019s second Grammy, following her 2017 win for Best Musical Theater Album, as part of the cast of The Color Purple.<\/em><\/p>\n

At last year\u2019s Grammys, Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance went to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga for their Mayhem<\/em> duet \u201cDie With a Smile.\u201d<\/p>\n
