Shinichi Atobe is releasing a new album. Silent Way<\/em> arrives March 27 on Plastic & Sounds, the label he founded last year. The Japanese producer has also shared a lead single, \u201cRain 1\u201d\u2014you can listen to it below.<\/p>\n

Berlin-based artist Rashad Becker mixed and mastered Silent Way,<\/em> and photographer Yusuke Yamatani shot its album cover. The record marks Atobe\u2019s first full-length since 2024\u2019s Discipline<\/em> and follows the EP Ongaku 1<\/em>, which he shared the same year.<\/p>\n

Since releasing his debut 12-inch Ship-Scope<\/em> on Basic Channel sublabel Chain Reaction in 2001, Atobe has put out a steady stream of albums and EPs. They include Butterfly Effect<\/em> (2014), From The Heart, It\u2019s A Start, A Work Of Art<\/em> (2017), Heat<\/em> (2018), Yes<\/em> (2020), Love of Plastic<\/em> (2022), and Peace Of Mind<\/em> (2024).<\/p>\n
