as they celebrated their first birthday, capturing all the \u201craw and real\u201d looks the London rave had to offer. Now, we return to the Sextou dancefloor once more, as founders Umberto Borraccia and Timothy Wang recognise another milestone \u2013 their first party outside of the UK. \u201cParis during fashion week felt like the natural first step outside London. The city becomes a melting pot where style, nightlife, and culture all collide,\u201d Borraccia says over email. \u201cSextou exists exactly in that inbetween space, so PFW felt less like a destination and more like a moment to plug into.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While blockbuster brands like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/dior\"><span>Dior<\/span><\/a><span>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/saint-laurent\"><span>Saint Laurent<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/louis-vuitton\"><span>Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/a><span> showed collections across <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/pfw\"><span>Paris Fashion Week men\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span>, the style at Sextou offered an alternative to what was happening on the catwalks. \u201cThere\u2019s always an underlying elegance and self-awareness in Paris, and that was definitely present,\u201d says Borraccia, \u201cbut Sextou bends it so there\u2019s less polish and more instinct. Elsewhere, some wore harnesses and lace-up vests, others wore corsets and faux fur coats, while the famous Tom of Finland illustrations were splashed across one person\u2019s sleeveless top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As well as being Sextou\u2019s first party outside of London, this edition also saw them link up with TOYZ, another queer rave in Paris founded by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nymed_toyz\"><span>Nymed<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/enzo_tonati\"><span>Enzo Tonati<\/span><\/a><span>. For Borracia, the decision to link up was a simple one, a partnership that felt completely organic in nature. \u201cWhat Nymed and Enzo have built is a real cultural platform rooted in community and a strong visual world,\u201d he said. \u201cThe collaboration was about merging two queer collectives that already speak the same language to our communities.\u201d And now that that\u2019s all over, the Sextou collective are continuing on in their world tour, heading to Madrid on March 13 for another collaboration, this time with Spanish night BESO. \u201cSextou is growing through chapters,\u201d concludes Borraccia. \u201cParis was the first chapter, but we\u2019re building community with local scenes, rather than simply introducing a party.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span>Scroll through the gallery above for all the looks from the night<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"newsletter-inline-last\">\n<div class=\"newsletter-small\">\n<div class=\"inner\">\n<h1 class=\"newsletter-title\">Escape the algorithm! Now, we return to the Sextou dancefloor once more, as founders Umberto Borraccia and Timothy Wang recognise another milestone \u2013 their first party outside of the UK. \u201cParis during fashion week felt like the natural first step outside London. The city becomes a melting pot where style, nightlife, and culture all collide,\u201d Borraccia says over email. \u201cSextou exists exactly in that inbetween space, so PFW felt less like a destination and more like a moment to plug into.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While blockbuster brands like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/dior\"><span>Dior<\/span><\/a><span>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/saint-laurent\"><span>Saint Laurent<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/louis-vuitton\"><span>Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/a><span> showed collections across <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/pfw\"><span>Paris Fashion Week men\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span>, the style at Sextou offered an alternative to what was happening on the catwalks. \u201cThere\u2019s always an underlying elegance and self-awareness in Paris, and that was definitely present,\u201d says Borraccia, \u201cbut Sextou bends it so there\u2019s less polish and more instinct. Elsewhere, some wore harnesses and lace-up vests, others wore corsets and faux fur coats, while the famous Tom of Finland illustrations were splashed across one person\u2019s sleeveless top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As well as being Sextou\u2019s first party outside of London, this edition also saw them link up with TOYZ, another queer rave in Paris founded by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nymed_toyz\"><span>Nymed<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/enzo_tonati\"><span>Enzo Tonati<\/span><\/a><span>. For Borracia, the decision to link up was a simple one, a partnership that felt completely organic in nature. \u201cWhat Nymed and Enzo have built is a real cultural platform rooted in community and a strong visual world,\u201d he said. \u201cThe collaboration was about merging two queer collectives that already speak the same language to our communities.\u201d And now that that\u2019s all over, the Sextou collective are continuing on in their world tour, heading to Madrid on March 13 for another collaboration, this time with Spanish night BESO. \u201cSextou is growing through chapters,\u201d concludes Borraccia. \u201cParis was the first chapter, but we\u2019re building community with local scenes, rather than simply introducing a party.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span>Scroll through the gallery above for all the looks from the night<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"newsletter-inline-last\">\n<div class=\"newsletter-small\">\n<div class=\"inner\">\n<h1 class=\"newsletter-title\">Escape the algorithm!
