    Kahh Spence, a former celebrity hairstylist, is no stranger to the beauty space. His latest endeavour, Samir Grey, is a carefully thought-out luxe fragrance brand worthy of a spot on your shelf.\n<\/p>\n

    “I really wanted to crawl before I walked, and that is what this brand represents to me. It’s the idea that there’s power in being still,” Spence says. The brand’s name, Samir Grey, is a nod to Spence’s late mother and his favorite color. “Samir comes from my middle name, which is Shamir, and I wanted something that was connected to me but a bit different.”\n<\/p>\n

    For the brand’s debut fragrance, Spence tapped into a sentimental memory of a work trip reminiscent of his mother. “Right before my mom passed, I went on a work trip with Kehlani, who wanted to bring my mom, who was really sick at the time,” he says. “I really wanted to bottle that last good memory and feeling of escapism.”\n<\/p>\n

    More specifically, Spence was inspired to capture the feeling of being in the south of France “on a yacht with a loved one,” he says. Essentially, One is the scent you spritz when you want to feel like you got a warm hug, in a sunny, tropical place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
