I wasn\u2019t expecting the year to start off with Gwar\u2019s take on \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d yet here we are. The blood-spewing metal band recently performed Chappell Roan\u2019s mega-hit for A.V. Club series A.V. Undercover. (Gwar has a history of irreverent covers like this; in 2024, they played an equally committed version of \u201cI\u2019m Just Ken\u201d for the same series.) \u201c\u2018Pink Pony Club\u2019 is about embracing exile from a boring, shitty world and remaking yourself into whatever you want,\u201d vocalist Berzerker Bl\u00f6thar said in a statement. \u201cBe who you are, be who you aren\u2019t, piss people off, we don\u2019t care!\u201d Right on, brother. Gwar will hit the road later this year for their Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour.<\/p>\n
