King Tuff has a new album on the way, and it\u2019s called Moo<\/em>. The Vermont garage rocker also known as Kyle Thomas will put out the follow-up to 2023\u2019s Smalltown Stardust<\/em> on March 27 via his own new label, MUP Records, and Thirty Tigers. He\u2019s also shared a music video for the record\u2019s lead single and opening track, \u201cTwisted on a Train,\u201d and a poem that \u201cfurther highlights the various uses and features of MOO.\u201d Check those both out below.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote and recorded the whole dang song in the span of a few hours, which was basically the opposite of how I had been working in the computer,\u201d Thomas said of \u201cTwisted on a Train\u201d in a press statement. \u201cSpending hours moving waveforms around like a zombie, comping vocals, second guessing, trying to make things sound not lifeless, trying to make anything sound good at all, took months. But here on the tape it was so much more alive. More like painting or collaging. More like making actual music. Every move I made stuck like super glue. It was effortless. It was pure joy.\u201d<\/p>\n
