            I\u2019ve tested many hair oils over the years, and this one from Amika is as good as they get. It\u2019s powered by sea buckthorn, an omega-rich superfruit, and lightweight silicone to condition, enhance shine, and soften and strengthen strands. The texture of this oil is on another level. It\u2019s not so lightweight that it\u2019s watery and hard to control, but it\u2019s also not sticky or greasy, which can weigh hair down and make it look dirty.\n<\/p>\n

            Throughout the testing period, I applied it to damp and dry hair and noticed how well it softened and enhanced shine without leaving an oily residue. While I didn\u2019t find it super effective for frizz reduction, I don\u2019t usually see much of that from oils (cream or wax-based products typically work better for that on my fine, frizzy hair).
