If, like many, you\u2019re a <\/span>Harry Styles<\/span><\/a> megafan, you probably woke up this morning with a huge grin across your face. Yesterday afternoon (January 20), the former boybander posted a moustachioed image of himself on his IG grid, captioning the photo \u2018Aperture. Jan 23, 00:00 UK.\u2019 The single announcement is our first promise of new music since the critically acclaimed <\/span>Harry\u2019s House<\/span><\/em>, his third studio album released way back in May 2022. \u201cAperture\u201d is the lead single from new record <\/span>Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally<\/span><\/em>,<\/span>which was announced last week to massive fanfare.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the ruckus about Styles\u2019 return to the spotlight reminded us of the time we dropped our winter 2021 cover, and the world collectively lost its mind. To say that it broke the internet would be an understatement \u2013 since that unseasonably warm Monday in November, the Dazed servers have never been the same again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Much was made of the interview and its accompanying fashion shoot, styled by <\/span>Ib Kamara<\/span><\/a> and lensed by <\/span>Rafael Pavarotti<\/span><\/a>. \u201cHarry Styles wows in sublime pics\u201d, was the <\/span>Metro<\/span><\/em>\u2019s headline. \u201cHarry Styles dons dresses and heels while discussing his new beauty brand,\u201d responded the <\/span>Daily Mail<\/span><\/em>, clutching its pearls. \u201cHarry Styles\u2019 New Dazed Photo-Shoot Takes His OTT Fashion To New Levels And We\u2019re Absolutely Here For It,\u201d bellowed <\/span>HuffPost<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans had a field day online, comparing Kamara\u2019s styling to The Grinch, Kermit the Frog and the little lad who loves berries and cream. The former editor-in-chief had him in a <\/span>Prada<\/span><\/a> bodysuit, archive <\/span>Gaultier<\/span><\/a> and a <\/span>Balenciaga<\/span><\/a> opera cape \u2013 but, unsurprisingly, it didn\u2019t take much to get him in them. \u201cAs photographer Rafael Pavarotti readies his camera, Dazed\u2019s editor-in-chief Ibrahim Kamara takes Styles through the proposed looks for the shoot,\u201d read the print profile. \u201cHe immediately grabs an angelic cream look of a <\/span>Rick Owens<\/span><\/a> webbed sweater, a <\/span>Galliano<\/span><\/a> corset, and a <\/span>Comme des Garc\u0327ons<\/span><\/a> kitten heel from the splatter of Polaroids affixed to the wall.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Like our cover shoot in 2021, what Styles chooses to wear is constantly under the microscope, and will continue to be throughout this next era. If the new album cover is anything to go by, though, he\u2019s taking a more pared-back approach, donning a simple blue knitted t-shirt from <\/span>indie designer Patrick Carroll<\/span><\/a>, with the album\u2019s name stitched across it in red.
