Celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec says winter 2026 manicure trends fall somewhere between pared-back and expressive: think deep midnight or classic black for those \u201cquiet minimalism\u201d moments, and 3D details like pearls when you want to have more fun. Miss Pop\u2014an editorial nail artist known for her playful designs\u2014echoes that in-between mood, predicting dimension, sheen, and plenty<\/em> of deep, moody color.\n<\/p>\n

But this winter, Kandalec is adding a little graphic play to the classic shade to spice things up. \u201cI just put black on Lucy Boynton for a recent Chanel event,\u201d she says, adding that they \u201cdid a moon mani to give it a bit of added visual interest and camouflage growth.\u201d (Brilliant.)
