    If the words “Vacation” and “candle” aren’t exciting enough, the new candle (and the complementary vintage campaign) has all the makings of a great Vacation product: It’s super nostalgic, will look chic on your bedroom or living room table, and makes for the perfect gift.     The Inspiration <\/span><\/h2>\n

    Vacation may have started as a suncare brand, but it has since expanded into fragrance and candles, as it’s known for its iconic elevated scents. The brand’s offerings are all about world-building, and the candles take inspiration from chic destinations that add a little sparkle to whatever room they’re burning in. For example, the Home Resort Candle Set, featuring a Lobby, Suite, and Poolboy candle is inspired by a “7-star luxury resort,” with notes of “trifold travel pamphlets” and “a recently de-leafed swimming pool.” The Ball Boy candle in collaboration with Prince is so Challengers<\/em>-coded and has notes of “freshly uncanned tennis balls.” Of course, you can also snag the brand’s signature Vacation scent (which smells like an expensive swimsuit dipped in coconut water, solar musk, and bergamot) in candle form. In short, the new holiday candle fits right into the brand’s lineup.\n<\/p>\n

    Crafted by Carlos Huber, the fragrance developer behind\u00a0Arquiste, the new offering has all the nostalgic, aesthetic qualities of Vacation’s best. The campaign imagery surrounding the launch is reminiscent of a chic 1980s magazine spread, with models posing in luxe cashmere sweaters in the middle of picturesque snowy mountains. The tree green glass vessel is equally as aesthetically pleasing, and the brand’s signature three-pine blend transforms any room into a winter wonderland.\n<\/p>\n

    The Fragrance <\/span><\/h2>\n

    Simply put, the Royal Pine Deluxe Candle smells like the holiday season. It boasts a three-pine blend of balsam pine accord, Siberian pine needle, and Norwegian spruce, for a luxurious take on the outdoorsy scent. Notes of “crisp mountain air” and “apr\u00e8s-ski winter cashmere” lean into the cheekiness of it all, and a warm “tonka bean panna cotta” note grounds and rounds the fragrance. The holiday candle comes in a weighted glass vessel featuring a 100% cotton wick and boasts an impressive 70-hour burn time. It’s also cruelty-free and vegan.\n<\/p>\n
