Across four lists \u2013 <\/span>Global<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>US<\/span><\/a>, Asia<\/a> and <\/span>MENA<\/span><\/a> \u2013 the Dazed community has curated a list of the most exciting emerging creatives and inspiring change-makers, including <\/span>Mahmoud Khalil<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0 <\/span>EsDeekid<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Geese<\/span><\/a>, footballer <\/span>Michelle Agyemang<\/span><\/a>, actor <\/span>Chase Infiniti<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Cortisa Star<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to beauty, we\u2019re spotlighting more people than ever before. Across make-up, hair, nails, tattoos and fragrance, these are the names and faces to follow so that you can stay up-to-date with what\u2019s hot in beauty right now. There are SFX and airbrush artists like <\/span>Lo\u00efs Hulin<\/span><\/a> and Mab<\/a> who are blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Hairstylists like <\/span>Ruby Howes<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Matt Benns<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Malcolm Marquez<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>John Novotny<\/span><\/a> who are shaping the cultural aesthetic through their work with it-girls, including Gabbriette, Charli xcx, Chappell Roan and Doechii. While nail artists <\/span>Maame Efuwa Aikins<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Nikki Panic<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Rachel Sun<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Tahvya Krok<\/span><\/a> turn manicures into sculptural masterpieces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beauty has had a strong representation throughout the history of Dazed 100. In its inaugural year, the list spotlighted make-up artist <\/span>Isamaya Ffrench<\/span><\/a> and hairstylist <\/span>Alex Brownsell<\/span><\/a>, who have gone on to become industry heavyweights. Since then, featured creatives from the beauty world have included <\/span>Yadim<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Thomas de Kluyver<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Jawara<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Cyndia Harvey<\/span><\/a>. In 2020, hairstylist <\/span>Evanie Frausto<\/span><\/a> and make-up artist <\/span>Ana Takahashi<\/span><\/a> were among the beauty cohort, while 2021 alumni <\/span>Valentina Li<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>C\u00e9cile Paravina<\/span><\/a> were chosen by Chanel to be two of the three <\/span>global creative make-up partners<\/span><\/a> the following year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2021 also saw Brazilian hairstylist and sculptor <\/span>Janice Mascarenhas<\/span><\/a> crowned the winner of the Dazed 100. With the $30,000 grant money, <\/span>she created Anatomy of Diaspora<\/span><\/a>, a short film that journeys through indigenous cultures and Afrofuturist ideas. In 2023, we spotlighted artists including <\/span>Alona Sobolevska<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Dee Carrion<\/span><\/a>, who went on to go viral thanks to their collaborations with Doechii. While last year\u2019s alum <\/span>Andrew Dahling<\/span><\/a> has continued to create bold looks with Chappell Roan and <\/span>Tilda Mace<\/span><\/a> with FKA twigs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
