Don\u2019t bother checking to see if there is sound coming from another tab: the feel of two beats playing at once on \u201cClassist\u201d is intentional. Like Keef and Duwap Kaine before him, Xaviersobased couldn\u2019t care any less about structure. Here, the drums sputter on top of out of sync claps, and the soft, hypnotic melody sounds like it has been beamed in from another dimension altogether. Meanwhile, Xaviersobased is unbothered, casually laying down droll rhymes (\u201cSlap the shit out a old nigga if he\u2019s classist\u201d) as if the beat behind him isn\u2019t as chaotic as the Looney Tunes junk crashing sound effect.<\/p>\n
