Whether you\u2019re after a subtle trim or a dramatic change guaranteed to stir up your group chat, we rounded up nine fall haircut trends worth considering.\n<\/p>\n

According to some of the industry\u2019s most in-demand hairstylists, fall 2025 is all about contrast\u2014cropped pixies, face-framing layers, textured bangs, or the opposite route: sleek, blunt ends. No matter which direction you\u2019re leaning, a little prep goes a long way. “When you go in to try a new style, bring photo references to make sure you are on the same page with your stylist,” suggests celebrity hairstylist Lacy Redway. “Consider your fave shape, lifestyle, and level of effort you want to make when styling your hair once away from your stylist. Try to get a consultation if you are trying a stylist for the first time so you can make sure your style choice is achievable.”\n<\/p>\n

Heaps says that, unlike the equally popular \u201cc*nty little bob\u201d trend, this version is \u201ca softer, more effortless way than the sharp, structured versions we\u2019ve seen in the past. Think jaw-grazing or just below, with a bit of movement and texture. If you\u2019re asking for it in the salon, mention you want it to feel light and airy, not blunt\u2014it should frame the face in a way that feels chic but wearable.”\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
