Summary

  • C.P. Company and Alessi debut a Milan Design Week collaboration featuring a limited-edition, PVD-coated 9090 espresso maker designed to develop a unique patina.

  • The capsule includes nylon overshirts in colors inspired by Ettore Sottsass’s 1983 Alessi factory uniforms, merging industrial kitchenware heritage with technical garment-dyed apparel.

Italian brands C.P. Company and Alessi have unveiled a multifaceted collaboration at Milan Design Week, releasing an apparel capsule and a limited-edition coffee set that are both rooted in a common ethos.

The classic steel Alessi 9090 espresso maker is finished with a black PVD finish, which will develop a unique patina over time, mimicking C.P. Company’s garment-dyed pieces that evolve with wash and wear. Accented with brass-colored details, the PVD coating provides a matte contrast to metallic finishes. In matching black PVD-coated steel, the 9090 espresso maker is accompanied by a moka set and mug by Jean Nouvel, and a geometric tray by Enzo Mari. As a special-edition release, the C.P. Company 9090 is limited to 999 numbered pieces.

The nylon Alessi x C.P. Company Overshirt comes in three exclusive colourways, two of which are inspired by vintage Alessi factory uniforms designed by Memphis design pioneer Ettore Sottsass in 1983: Deep Lavender and Malachite Green. Along with the deep blue colorway, the shirts are each embroidered with Alessi and C.P. Company’s wordmarks side by side.

Shop the collection on cpcompany.com, alessi.com, and in both brands’ flagship stores.
