Is there any connection to ignition or fueling? Street bikes have a different map usually connected to the clutch switch

I cant answer your question 100% but on my 17′ I know there was no change. As far as i know that is literally just a “safety” switch to keep the consumer from cranking the bike unexpectedly. I will say I have hit the starter a few times on accident when setting my holeshot device lol
