Colorado’s Granby Ranch Resort has announced its plans for some major new upgrades.

At the resort’s kickoff concert for its Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series, Granby Ranch Resort’s General Manager of Development and Construction took to the stage to reveal its new major development plan. Titled “Granby Ranch Elevated,” the plan outlines the resort’s development goals for the next three to five years.

The plan will heavily focus on real estate development and resort investments.

New Real Estate Developments

The Granby Ranch master plan details a plethora of new real estate developments. With new sustainably-built housing that matches the surrounding landscape, Granby Ranch hopes to generate long-term growth and economic viability for its community.

So far, Granby Ranch has completed two sets of townhomes: the Meadows Townhomes and the Saddle Mountains Townhomes. Designed for mountain living, the Meadows Townhomes feature two to three bedrooms and large outdoor patio space for enjoying the resort’s scenery. The Saddle Mountains Townhomes were designed with luxury in mind, featuring expansive windows, open-concept floor plans, authentic mountain accents, and three levels of outdoor viewing decks.

Granby Ranch has also constructed a Ranch Hall, designed for hosting various social events and celebrations for residents. New Granby Ranch Homeowners will have access to the Ranch Hall, which features a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and a children’s playground.

The plan’s largest real estate project is the development of three single-family home neighborhoods: Eisenhower Camp, Greyhawk, and Timber Ridge. Each neighborhood offers a unique aesthetic. Eisenhower Camp homes embrace “a refined Mountain Contemporary aesthetic,” with expansive windows overlooking Parry Peak and the Fraser River. Situated by the resort’s golf course, the Greyhawk neighborhood offers course access and an ideal location for the resort’s recreational activities. Timber Ridge is located on East Mountain, with ski-in ski-out access.

Granby Ranch has begun construction on the Eisenhower Camp and will soon begin construction on Greyhawk and Timber Ridge.

New Resort Investments

Granby Ranch is also pouring resources into improving the resort and its amenities. The resort has already completed base lawn improvements, a new ski patrol dispatch building, and a new magic carpet lift with expanded beginner terrain. Additionally, the resort purchased two new snowcats and is currently investing in new snowmaking equipment.

The resort plans to continue investing in new infrastructure for the next three to five years. Granby Ranch has announced plans for its new South of Quick Draw Express chairlift, which will allow it to expand its East Mountain terrain. A new restaurant will also be added to the base area, as well as a new dining hall and event ballroom.

The plan will finish with a new golf clubhouse, an improved wedding ceremony area, and new resort entrances.

“Timelines are currently being refined based upon internal and external factors. Our goal is to continually invest in the future of Granby Ranch with an emphasis on the homeowner and guest experience,” Huber said in the plan release, according to a Ski-Hi News article.
