Cara Delevingne – “I Forgot / Out of my Head”

Cara Delevingne has come crashing into the music scene with a genre-blurring, emotionally intoxicating double-sided release. Debut singles “I Forgot” and “Out of my Head” come accompanied by a cinematic short film directed by Severance Emmy-winning director Jessica Lee Gagné, and are joined by news of a debut album due later this summer.

Ariana Grande – “hate that i made you love me”

Crowning princess of pop Ariana Grande is officially unlocking her new era with “hate that i made you love me”, the first single off her eighth studio album, petal. Described as “one of my favourite songs I’ll ever write”, her twinkling vocals darken slightly on this adagio electro-pop that feels like an almost-love ballad yet is also quite self-deprecating…welcome back Ari.

Ezra Collective ft. Pa Salieu – “Only Love”

Everyone’s favourite jazz band Ezra Collective have blessed the sunny weekend with their triumphant return. The first taste of an upcoming fourth studio album, the BRIT Award-winning quintet have shared a vivacious, uplifting and intricate new single, “Only Love”, which borrows the unique and ubiquitous Pa Salieu for a feature.

Ravyn Lenae – “Handle”

If you weren’t living under a rock in the summer of 2025, chances are Ravyn Lenae’s hit “Love Me Not” soundtracked at least one sun-drenched memory. Now, the Chicago-born singer is setting her sights on another defining season, announcing her third studio album, Blue Island, due 7th August. Fans can get their first taste of the project today with “Handle”, an irresistible slice of hook-laden pop that bottles Lenae’s sonic magnetism.

Nia Smith – “High”

As she steadily cements herself as one of London’s most exciting new voices, Ivor Novello and MOBO-nominated R&B breakout Nia Smith returns with “High”, arriving on the heels of “Tough”, her biggest release to date. Built around delicate plucked guitar and Smith’s honeyed vocals, the track wraps listeners in warmth as she reflects on heartbreak, acceptance and the quiet grief of watching a relationship unravel. Alongside the single, she also announces her forthcoming EP, “Payback Is A Dog”.

Keo – “That’s Me”

One of the hottest British bands of the moment, Keo have shared news of their long-awaited debut album, Put A Smile On For Me, set to be unleashed in late September via Island Records. “That’s Me” kicks things into action; anguish-fuelled, crashing against the shores of emotion, with a rousing sing-along chorus best yelled back in dark, sticky basements.

Violet Grohl – “Bug In The Cake”

You can take away her surname, and Violet Grohl is still one of the most exciting new names to emerge in guitar music this year. Debut album Be Sweet To Me is diverse and daring, with blues, emo, post-rock and indie infusions. “Bug In The Cake” is the rowdy lead single with a rascally video.

Gotts Street Park ft. Matt Maltese – “Some Birds Don’t Fly”

Buttery, benevolent and beautiful, Gotts Street Park is one of the most rewarding acts that your ears can call an acquaintance. The Leeds trio are back with their first new music in three years, enlisting the ever-endearing presence of Matt Maltese for the quite simply gorgeous new single, “Some Birds Don’t Fly”.

Grandmas House – “Baby You’re A Winner”

Bristol-based band Grandmas House are the up-and-coming jagged rock band to keep your eyes on. Their latest track “Baby You’re A Winner” is a testament to that, also being the title track for their debut album coming out on 21st August. It’s a scruffy anthem that’s expansive post-fuelled rock at its best, with jumping baselines, raspy vocals and interlocking guitar riffs.

Quadeca – “Dark Magic”

Off the heels of his Kilby Block Party performance, Quadeca marks his stamp on 2026 with his first single, “Dark Magic”. Starting off with a distorted, experimental intro, we’re quickly ushered into taking in his smooth, snappy vocals over triumphant trumpets and a bouncy instrumental.

Jungle – “The Wave”

The groove generals are back at it! BRIT Award-winning group Jungle are gearing up to share their new album, Sunshine, on 14th August. The latest teaser, “The Wave”, sees J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto doing what they do best – having a great time and sounding great while doing it.

Déyyess – “Crush”

Released via Universal imprint Boys Boys Boys, Déyyess hits new heights with an excellent new alt-pop cut, “Crush”. An undeniable bass line, breathy and beautiful vocals, compelling structural elements and a hell of a video. Déyyess just stepped the game up.

Nieve Ella – “Bite Back”

Nieve Ella is hungry, and she’s inviting us to feast. Following recent single “Drive”, the UK rising star returns with “Bite Back”, a ferocious offering that sinks its teeth into themes of humiliation, anger and self-preservation, fuelled by snarling guitars and razor-sharp lyricism. Accompanying it is a music video directed by Yana Van Nuffel, a trippy, strangely beautiful meditation on appetite, femininity and emotional decay.

Alewya – “Maktoub”

With less than a month to go until her debut album ZERO, Ethiopian-Egyptian polymath shares “Maktoub”. Feeling “immediate and effortless from day one”, this track marks another sharp strike in this musical journey. Inspired by those homegrown rhythms, swirling with heavy percussion and her slick lyricism, get ready for Alewya because she’s ready for you.

Tove Stryke – “Song and Dance Man”

Returning with a double-single release, Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Stryke just wants a “Song and Dance Man”. On this funky, electro-tinged track, her gentle vocals almost whisper as she exudes an effortless confidence and fun – which, actually, is what this track is all about. In stepping away from the limelight, finding new ground as a mother and training as a biodynamic gardener, Tove wants you to join her at The Afterparty, her forthcoming album.

JGrrey ft. Bel Cobain – “Take My Hand”

South London-hailing singer-songwriter JGrrey has one request: “Take My Hand”, and she’s enlisted the help of neo-soul artist Bel Cobain to help her. On this soulful track, she details deep-rooted feelings around companionship, digging into the curiosity that tinges the intimacy of romance and relationships. Alongside Bel, their voices marry wistfully over a light and upbeat alt R&B melody, buttered with hums, harmonies and a gorgeous sax.

Pearl & The Oysters – “Mandarin Moon”

Paris-formed duo Pearl & The Oysters are serenading a “Mandarin Moon” on their new track from their forthcoming 11-track album, Monkey Mind. Over an upbeat jazz-y melody, riddled with swing drums, fidgety guitar riffs, punchy keys and whistling wood instruments, the song is a bright dreamscape with a dark realisation: humanity’s ease in destroying the natural beauty surrounding it.

Conducta – “In Your Arms”

Following on from his big performance at GALA Festival last week in London, Conducta brings the party we might’ve missed straight to us with his new EP “SOUNDBOY JOHNNY” featuring the standout “In Your Arms”. It’s exactly what you’d want from a jungle number: addictively bouncy, a running BPM and a melody that’ll get you looking for a dance floor.

Leroy Clampitt – “Sick Day”

Kiwi-born singer-songwriter-producer Leroy Clampitt is calling in a “Sick Day” ahead of his debut solo album, Get Happy. Born out of the thought of taking sick days as a kid, a feeling he resonated with while in the depths of production for other artists, he transformed that overwhelm into a skateboard-snared, swing melody, laden with irony and wit.

Pozer – “Franklin Saint”

MOBO-winning breakout rapper Pozer has just dropped his debut mixtape, “Crossroads”, giving us his most emotionally-charged body of work to date. “Franklin Saint” from the project follows the same sentiments, with a melancholic piano beat serving as the perfect backdrop for him to reflect on grief and emotional exhaustion with a quiet heaviness.

Bella Kay – “Say It Say”

Texas-born Bella Kay is going from strength to strength with the release of her three-track EP, “are you mad at me?” On it, she implores a love to “Say It Say”, an almost-grungy punk track brimming with conviction as she tries to wrangle truth and feeling. Building into a pacey crescendo with a quick-strummed guitar, she aces that youthful angst and yearning.

Maehem99 – “Burn Your Wishes”

Maehem99 might be alt-pop’s next wonder. After releasing their debut track just last month, they’re back with their sophomore single “Burn Your Wishes” in the lead up to their EP “Sexual Commerce”. With commentary on a queer connection with the pressure of selling your own image, they show off their gleaming vocals over a bipolar, choppy instrumental that’s equal parts dream and nightmare.

Songer ft. KiLLOWEN – “Places + Faces”

Two of the best dance-rap crossover artists to emerge in recent years, Reading’s Songer and UKG favourite KiLLOWEN come together for a progressive and potent banger, “Places + Faces”. Plucked from Songer’s forthcoming project, as he announces his biggest UK and Ireland tour this autumn, the track sees the duo spin a dominant beat with craft and charisma.

Saint Harison – “daffodil”

You’ll feel like a “daffodil” with this light-feeling, heartbreak-lathered jingle from British R&B artist Saint Harison. Despite its sweet sound and Saint’s even sweeter vocals, the track itself borders on tragic, showcasing how the singer-songwriter can marry the two bittersweetly. Set up in a call-and-response flow, he seesaws between longing and disappointment, decorating it with gorgeous riffs and adlibs.

Deto Black – “Sisi Eko”

Deto Black is as sharp-tongued as ever on “Sisi Eko” – and for good reason. Here she grapples with the ever-evolving dynamics of modern dating culture in Lagos, only with herself as the prize. Over a drilling melody that quite literally sizzles, it’s that efficacious storytelling and ability to blend rap, pop, Afrobeats and soul seamlessly that cements the Nigerian rapper’s place at the front of the nation’s alté movement.

Josh Caffé – “Limousine”

With his new EP “The Velvet Hour” on the horizon, Josh Caffé also drops off his latest single “Limousine”. Made for the late hours of the night, it’s a sleazy track with warped house production and angsty vocals as he talks about infidelity and excess. A sophisticated club banger that could lead the night elsewhere.

Daniel Hex – “SHAKE”

With his standout album moment I felt / BLUE continuing to garner attention across the globe, multi-faceted producer, songwriter and artist Daniel Hex returns with an addictive new single, blurring the lines between R&B and hip-hop. Co-produced with Davion the seductive soundtrack immaculately combines snappy percussive elements with effective synth lines.

Tiwa Savage ft. Wande Coal & Mavo – “Energy”

Ahead of performing at SXSW London, Afrobeats heavyweight Tiwa Savage is back with her first official song of the year, “Energy”. Borrowing the draw of OG anthem-constructor Wande Coal and new-wave titan Mavo, the tune sees the trio uplift and encompass through colourful and character musicianship.

CARI – “Crashing Out!”

CARI re-announces herself as one of R&B’s most exciting newcomers with “Crashing Out!” – a bass guitar-led slow burn that captures the push and pull of surrendering to romantic temptation.
