ALL POINTS EAST IS THROWING THE ULTIMATE R&B SOIRéE
If you somehow weren’t convinced by a double header of Jorja Smith and Tems, get a load of these new names added to All Points East’s first all-dayer of 2026 on Friday 21st August.

There’s a lot of chat at the moment around modern R&B being slept on. We all know it’s great (especially in summer), has an esteemed lineage full of classic artists, and that there’s an array of new top-tier talent coming through. But it doesn’t make headlines the way pop, rap, or punk does, so it sometimes slithers beneath the surface of mainstream culture.
Change is afoot, though – R&B is on the up. And as ever on the cutting edge, All Points East are dedicating one of its six star-studded all-dayers in sunny Victoria Park in East London to the eclectic, effervescent and endearing amalgam of artists who are putting R&B back on its preeminent pedestal.
First and foremost, it’s showing the elasticity of its style. Manchester’s finest DJ, producer and songwriter Nia Archives is far more than just R&B – as are the likes of soul savant Elmiene, experimentalist Wesley Joseph and pop essential Destin Conrad – but there’s a core of luscious grooves, show-stopping vocals, and undeniable star power. They, and more, are joining the already announced dual headline of Jorja Smith and Tems, alongside kwn, Ayra Starr, and Odeal.
Taking place on Friday 21st August, this is undoubtedly going to be one of the most rewarding day festivals of the summer, and one that you’d be silly to miss. Get those tickets before it’s too late.
